Heavy duty BIB Overalls from Kärret. Sewn in 450g/m² cotton fabric (100% BCI Cotton) from Scottish Halley Stevensons. A waxed and hardened fabric. With extra layers of reinforcement over the knees with the possibility of tucking in knee pads. Large pocket with zipper on the chest that also carries two smaller external pockets. Large spacious external pockets on the legs and side pockets for tools and carpenter's pencil.
The seams are specially adapted to achieve the best durability, such as triple seams along the legs, special crotch seams, chain stitching at the waist/waistband to add flexibility. All so that the pants are comfortable to wear without losing durability.
The BIB overalls come waxed and unwashed. At first they feel stiff and long. After the first wash, the pants shrink in length and become softer. We recommend using the pants unwashed for a week or so for the best fit and patina.
Tip! Wash out the wax in the summer to make the pants lighter, add new wax in the fall to create protection against cold and wetness.
